Thank you for ordering from Bristle. This Shipping Policy explains how we ship Bristle products, where we currently ship, and how to return your saliva sample for processing.
Where we ship
Bristle currently ships to customers in the United States and Canada. Bristle tests are available in all U.S. states except New York. We hope to expand availability in the future.
Order processing and delivery
Orders typically ship within 1–2 business days after purchase. Once shipped, delivery usually takes 3–5 business days.
You will receive order updates by email. You can also track your shipment through your Bristle dashboard by logging into your account and clicking the “My Orders” tab.
Shipping costs
Bristle offers free shipping on eligible products where indicated at checkout in the US. Shipping rates apply for Canada.
Returning your saliva sample
If your order includes a Bristle Oral Health Test, please register your kit online before mailing your sample back. We cannot process your sample until your kit is registered.
U.S. customers
For U.S. orders, each test kit includes a prepaid return envelope or return label that can be used to send your saliva sample back to Bristle’s laboratory for processing.
After collecting your sample:
- Place the sealed collection tube inside the clear bag.
- Place the clear bag inside the return envelope.
- Seal the envelope.
- Drop it in a USPS mailbox or take it to a USPS location.
Canada customers
For Canada orders, customers are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping for saliva samples back to Bristle’s laboratory.

When to return your sample
Your Oral Health Test kit can be used up to 6 months after it is delivered. After collecting your saliva sample, we recommend shipping it back to our lab within 2 weeks of collection to help ensure sample quality and accurate results.
Results timeline
Results are typically available online 2–3 weeks after your sample is received by our lab.
Lost, delayed, damaged, or unusable kits
If your order is delayed, damaged, defective, missing components, or otherwise unusable, please contact us at support@bristlehealth.com with your order number and a description of the issue.
Bristle may provide a replacement kit if the kit is damaged, defective, or unusable, provided the sample has not already been submitted and the kit was purchased within the last 12 months.
Refunds and cancellations
Orders canceled within 24 hours of purchase are eligible for a full refund, including shipping and handling costs and applicable taxes.
Refund requests made after 24 hours but within 14 days of purchase may be eligible for a refund of the kit purchase price minus a $25 processing fee, provided the sample has not been returned to Bristle. Shipping and handling costs and applicable taxes are non-refundable in these cases.
No refunds are available after 14 days from purchase.
